listen to this track and answer me how he is making this dark dnb
Starting at 1:26 onward
He used FL studio 7 , and i just don't know how he gets it to sound like that, with normal drum samples. or what samples could i use??
Would effects may have he used on the drums and kicks? Help?

Well...last time i checked.....most of them ?!
Not really sure what defines darkstep/skullstep these days but you listen to any Donny , limewax , spl , dylan , tech itch , audio or panacea tunes and they're generally all using one of the modded amens that you can get in most packs but they just strip it to kick, snare, high hats , process it slightly and add extra kicks and snares.
Masherdude - I use fl and i make Heavy techstep stuff. Look for kzss & the collaboration on myspace. There's only a short clip on there tho. Check that out and let me know if you want some advice.

anyway.. let me rant a bit. what the fuck is skullstep and before I got over the constant dividing of the genre and I still dont accept the term darkstep, it even divides into more subgenres FOR FUKS SAKE

practise, practise jus usein the same softwar as sum wont mean u can automatic make tunes like them unless its magic it software attually it dont matter wot software u use jus wot eva u find easiest 2 use of can do wot u want.
speciffically for this tune tho its amen break in fl slicer click normall n open piano roll so u the notes mapped to play how the sample normally sounds make a note whitch 1 is kik in wich is snare writte sum diff patterns whith them n fill inbetween to start use the notes that norally folow the snare n reapet them in that order till u hit u nest sr/kic this is a gud way to start wen u get good u can use diff pitched notes experiment wiv the lenghth of them.
then layer snare n kic samples over this in this track theres a mettalic snare over the break. ride, kik.
the effects used on the break are distortion/overdrive mabee a phaser. eq.
use piano roll to write in kicks over the amen loop at diffrent volumes like:
kik kik snare
loud Q
to give the roll. the kick is quite slappy its
hes run all the drums thru a master drum channle n put a high pass n a low pass filta on n automated the mute/solo button and the cutt off, or even just filta an automate the filta type as well. hes use the amen dry as well (no fx)
the nasty synth is prob sum kinda reese with filta on it wiv automation n distrotion (and i think a compressor sidechained to a snare)
try pickin sumfin persiffic from a tune maybee this one n try replicated it . let us know how u get on
