Please check out my new track 'Intro For A Yet Untitled Track' and post your comments here!

im currently working on this song. you will realize that the intro has stil a lot of "zzz" in it. working on that. im aslo trying to seperate this dark bass from its lead melody. as it is the same sound (darker on is just louder) im happy about any help to get its production clear and punchy. what do you think about kick & snare so far? both havent been compressed and equalized so far... thanks!

Put a gate on your delay for your synth, it sound a bit messy after a while.

DRUMS: bring up the kick, far to quiet. Snare is ok.

Happy

On the Rv7000, you have a button with 'gate enable', click on it. Go to the 'edit mode' button, click it so it goes to 'Gate'. Now adjust the settings 'Decay Mod' and 'Release' until you get the desired effect. Happy

ok did it...
just to know i did it right:
if i click gate enable its loses its delay; so as you said i have to adjust decay and release. now decay is at 100%, release at 4.110ms. too much??? what about hold? what exactly does it do? and what would you suggest regarding the high pass??? its 20Hz now???

again, thanks! ;-)

I quite like the lead sound you got in there. The melody is pretty simple and could be layered with other notes to make it more interesting. I dont like the kick snare sound. Sounds way muffled. I personaly would choose different sounds. Drop some more sounds to the intro too, some strings or pads. Sounds really empty now. Sounds interesting so far. Work on it.

Melody sounds really good on this man! Would be a really sick intro!

If you cleaned up some of the wet signal on the lead and threw some strings behind it like Brucifer suggested, I think it would be very epic.

The kick could use a little bit more punch imho, but the snare sounds good already.

Since its just an intro I can't say too much about it, but I think you should work on it more and see if you can't turn it into a song! I would be really stoked to hear the finished product.

Keep it up, man, really good sounds coming from ya. Bigup
