Intro is fine, sound is good

Tramen kicks in: godawfull EQing! No mid, way to much ear-hurting hi-end!
Reece sounds good (Absynth?).
Drop -> Good, but the sound of the tramen REALLY needs to be fixed.
Some sub would be nice. There seems to be some sub in the kick, but it's hardly hearable, and I think it's needed to phatten the reece.
Would be nice to have a second theme apart from the reece and stabs.
Not bad, but the tramen is really bad soundwise! Fix that!

hi there surya thx for ur review man appreciate it alot i was wondering if u could give me some tips on eq on the drums i'm quite a novice when it comes to production. its actually just the amen loop i used put it through beatslicer and u guest right with the reece bass it is absynth. as for another theme any sugestions? i tried adding some strings but i was'nt sure what sort of melody would fit the track i thaught of adding some of the sounds that come in near the end to the rest of the track and building on it not sure really.

also is anybody interested in colaborating on a fruityloops dnb track get in touch if so sonic_illusions@msn.com

Well, play your track in winamp, or any other player with a spectrum analyzer, and you will see then when the drums play, you have a very solid block on the hi end, and a big gap a bit lower. This shouldn't be. You do need a lot of hi end, but not THAT much, and the rest of the frequencies should be there too, especially on an amen, which has a wide frequency scope (when done well). Maybe your amen sample just sucks Smile Check the breaks samplepack in the download section if you need a better one.

As for the second theme: I always like a good hoover Tongue

yeah, i liked this one a lot actually. i can see that you had fun making it. dnb's not esp my thing, but this isn't a bad tune. as for all the production stuff, i guess surya's right, but overall it didn't sound bad to my ears.

i think i heard an amen in there, is that what it's called? the amenloop, well, you did a good job of masking it into a new beat, quite interesting.

sounds quite button fiddly, but i guess that's the vibe you were after.

you rawk man. this is the work of a complete nutcase bastard for sure Smile

alright, i mean, in an artistic sense of course, lol.
hehe.
