Please check out my new track 'August' and post your comments here!
Hi everyone.
This just the intro for a new track. Started this two days ago. Some of you may of heard a preview of this yesterday, this is a different mix, without the main drop.
This track was going to be a remix of a Digital track. It is moving further and further away from the Digial track all the time. In fact, only one sample remain, minus the drum loops, which have been modified. All the other sounds are my own, made with Reason 3.
I have mastered it with Ozone. Then again, it probably isn't really mastered that well.
Hopefully, this version is less muddy. Shout out to Battledrone, thanks for the link, came in very helpfull.

Yeah, I'm feeling this one mate, especially once it drops. Those beats have lots of impact and energy. Really punchy. Again, this tune sounds like something from the late 90s era. Which is a great thing!
The mix is slightly muddy, as you mentioned. Not by much tho. A tune of this style doesn't need to sound like something from a Pendu album. Perhaps if you took some boomyness out of the sub bass it would help create some more space for the low-mids.
Apart from that, just keep this one going mate. You're definitely onto something cool here.

Pretty cool. bass pad rings a bit too much as it goes to the higher note sometimes.
I like the effects nice eerie sound. im guessing you want the drums to sound a bit further away if its the intro so thats ok .
nice
