Hey, guys, does anybody know what environment John Gooch (aka Spor) use? I heard that he uses FL ( ! ) I don't believe this.)

I think as some trasitional stage, probably... but is it really so?

Sure, FL studio is for n00bs, so Spor must be using Cubase, yeah, Cubase is for PRO's, oooh I need Cubase too to be a pro.

Honestly, who give a f&*k what DAW you use, its the end result that counts. Everything around now days is at least 10 times better than around 10 years back....

Yeah, FL is crap and I wasted almost 8 years for it and related programs. It's so pleasant to quit doing this now.

Producing music - what a miserable time it was.

btw, Cubase is shit too... big bull shit.. It doesn't even matter what software or hardware one uses. "Pro" is smbd or smth else than that.

(imho, definitely, coz I don't want to offend big and tough daddys)

exactly. No pro's use fl, it's complete shite.....you have to use cubase or pro tools to be pro. In fact, just using those programs automatically makes your tunes sound pro, fact. It's got nothing to do with your production techniques, synthesis skills, vst tools at your disposal or your knowledge of electronic music. Wink

I dont realy like fruity either, I tried it moved on, tried Reason moved on again. Now I use Logic but its gotta b said - The Prducer Brother uses only Fruity Loops and his tunes are decent to me.

Js stumbled accross this thread and had to chuck two bobs worth in.
