Intro:
Maybe too much reverb/processing? Everything sound kinda far away. It'd be nice to get the drums pumping through harder and clearer.

The first drop moves too easily into it. It could use a larger more intense build before the bass comes in. I like the notes and feel of your bassline, but it also kinda feels like it not punching through. Maybe you need to eq each part better? Maybe taking your base sound and separating the high end and widening the stereo field of the high end while leaving the low mono.

The hihats throughout sound too clean. I'd put some distortion on them and then run and effect over them with sine to give them some movement.

I have a feeling you play this loud over and over and so your ears get used to it and it sounds good. You should try listening at lower volume, (if you aren't). I was just listening to N-Vee's track Run away and it's got a much cleaner sound. It doesn't have that far away feeling. I'm just using that as an example.

Anway, just trying to help. I know it's hard to go back and rework all the eq when you feel your done, but I think it would be worth it.

Cheers.

ez man, mix sounding ok generally speaking, not sure about the hats that come in around 1:10 don't quite seem to fit with the amen break, beat could have a bit more punch, apart from that likin the bass textures n edits r nice as well! Bigup

good general mix. drums are thin but that has been covered. like the bass, bit of a twisted indivual sound to it. not sure about the bass fill around 1.45 i would change it as well as the new bass melody in the secon section around 2.10. i think you have changed key as well which is hard to put in a dnb track wih out out it sounding like you have mixed in a new tune. try making a new melody in the same key and new bass. a good trick for creating new parts in atune is to load up the same main synth patch or sample onto a new channel then manipulate it so that you get a new sound with similar characteristcs to the first. the new sound should generally fit well with the first for a new section.

the track sounds very wet man the drums seem to loose impact because of it. turn the reverb time down or the predelay up a bit so the hits have chance to come through a bit. bass is ok. but im not big on jump up Smile so i cant really comment much farther Big Grin
