hi guys another question from me (all your other answers have been put to good use)
i have a accapella that i have chopped in segmants chorus, hook etc etc and just needed to know how to stretch these vocals to fit my 175 track.
i know there is maths involved which aint my strong point i know it's something like length * speed * bars i think.
im using cool edit so if you have any pointers then i'd be more then greatfull

it would be good if i could use logic i have it installed and starts on the window with 2 audio channels and the rest as instruments. when i used it round a friends house years ago he had it set up with 8 audio channels that you could drop wavs on but mine does not seem to wanna do that????

What is the original tempo of the samples?
You can stretch them in cool edit too. I can't remember how exactly but you can use the help
I think there is a stretch effect on the effects list.

Personally I think the easiest way would be to download reaper, load the sample in that and then simply press Alt and drag the edge of the sample as much as you want it time-stretching. You might also want to change the time-stretch algorithm too.
