Studying people is not wuss, it's part of hypnotizing/art of ninja/cold reading/truth detecting. real men can read people like a book. Like cops. If you knew the level of cops have of reading people. Understanding them and truth detecting. The mear thought of polygraph being used helps pressure people, which helps in reading people more.
So do judges. example is judge judy, she yells at people and acts so rough, not because she's a bad person, she does it to tell if they're telling the truth by putting the screws to them. it's part of hypnosis. there's many ways of slipping into someones mind...and changing it sometimes.

LOOOOOOOOOOOL YOU DON'T WANNA KNOW, but I'll subject you anyways.
1. apartment flood with toilet water backing up
2. it became mold, in 2 bedrooms and the living room (luckily kitchen was tiles)
3. places is getting gutted, I have to GTFO
4. landlords doesn't think he owes me ANY MONEY at all, nor my 500 deposit
5. had to give my dog to my mom becuase of this bullshit
6. friends moving up north into the great white asap because his wife working at dacare center had to deal with a 7 year old autistic kid with anger issues that's bigger then her 100lbs. self so she quit
7. i had only 4 days notice to move my furniture.
8. friend got truck and storage on the only day i could possibly move, and we got most of it out that i wanted, and moved his stuff into storage and my stuff into his house.
9. GF was gone for 2 weeks in British Columbia
10. i went camping first weekend of the month from friday till sunday
11. going to have to goto court for landlord too, and was yelling on phone with him explaining the lease says if the place is unlivable the lease is void
12. been working 2 jobs, 1 as a night clerk,other as general labourer
13. havn't been home to see that the house flooded mostly cuz i sleep at the motel i work at as part of the job, and goto other job during the day. that and my house smells of piss shit and penicillin.
14. landlord knew for 2 months that there was an issue that needed to fix and this was going to happen... since before i moved in. i know why the other tenant left.
15. yeah just working 13 hours this sunday afternoon afte rmoving all night, and now am just going to go ssj 4.

I used to have lots of trouble with rented apartments too, once my basement containing lots of audio gear and computer parts flooded with sewage. Weeks of misery. Buying my own home was a good idea, I pay only a bit more than typical rent, but I'm not dependent on anyone for home trouble anymore.

wow, and that shit goes on and on while you sleep in the motel? obscure. cant you get some legal advice as in get a friend-lawyer who wont be so costly but still get a fat cash settlement from the landlord

moms a para-legal, i can take him to small claims, 75 bucks, and i can sue him for that cost as well.

From law's perspective, you can sue your landlord about this, about having you out of the house because of his fault, and for not returning of the deposit. My branch of pro knowledge
EDIT: Of course, it depends on your deal with him, and if you can prove that he knew of the problem - having the previous guy as a witness or having him write a letter where he states this issue and signs that letter can help.
