Ohhh....shit, it's starting to be boring for me to listen that all my tracks are boring:-)))))))))

Well, why No mercy for this one????
Nobody knows

And guys, can you someone tell me how does it sound on your monitors? Esspecially that ones who have studio equipment?
Because one friend told me that there is lack of high mid range...I don't know...I have hi-fi speakrs only and they are "disco smilled" so they actually don't play mid range very well...I did a new mixdown following equalizer spectrum and maybe it's true there wasn't any mids, so tell me please....

Nice buildup in the beginning.
Drums are quite good.
Sound is quite decent. Could use a bit more bass.
Bit boring indeed, maybe a bit too much the same sounds during the whole track.

ok, here's my fuckin comments...

first off, if 'hearing everyone say that your songs are boring is boring to you', there's a few things you can do...

a) don't post em online if you don't want any criticizm---remember, not everyone's gonna like your tunes...
b) learn how to take criticizm (good or bad)...
c) learn how to add more variation in your tunes...it's totally possible to add variation without straying from the original theme...slight variations in the bassline melody (for instance adding a change-up in the bassline every 4th bar or something, you have a tendency to get into a groove with your synth/basslines and let em play for too long without any real change-ups, and that might be why people think the tune's boring...), adding little ambient sounds here and there, etc...

as far as this tune goes...
the snare drum seems kinda weak, it needs a bit of low-mid punch to thicken it up a bit and add more power...the mixdown seemed pretty good, there wasn't anything that was overpowering anything else...the only thing i'd work on is that main synth melody---it doesn't really change all that much thru-out the entire tune...

Dunno why, but I always produce at 176 bmp. 180 is a tad to fast for my taste, 176 is just perfect Smile

uhu 176 bpms here too mostly.. only more jazzy funky thing go down to 163bpms Smile

anyway the track.. i don't it's too fast here..

sound could use some eq especially that snare.

melodies are not bad, but they don't grab my attention.. this tends to improve around 3.00min..

drop around 3.50 is dissapointing, it felt like there's a piece buildup yet to come but it just drops.. sounds do grab my attention from that moment on tho!

i think the problem is that u got enuff variations 'n stuff, they're set out very smoothly too, but they don't stand out in the track! i think they're too much working around the same theme, going on and on.. try to break that with another theme that fits in and pumps it all up...

cheerz emblem

Regardless of anyones opinion this track has huge potential just needs alot of time and effort!. Drums are way too weak and the buildups n things are jus not built up well enuff!. Work on this one m8 i reckon you could be onto somethin if you take the time......remember time is quality.....dont rush.

Actually I've heard couple of times something about potential and talent:-)))
I'm happy about that...but I don't like reworking of songs very much...I know it needs more time and attention. But I'm a bit impatient and lazy....I'll try to make it better, maybe I'll remake this peace. I'll see

Thanx

I usually don't like to remake older songs but except that i try to beware of mistakes in new production.. anyway if you want to make decent music few hours are just not enough.. it's true that i make about 80% of song in 4 hours.. the main skeleton of a track with main ideas, but then 20% of track including breakdowns and lot's of minor addons like reversed cymbal.. some ambient sounds, etc.. and mastering eqzing etc.. take me about day or two, and sometimes i work with this shit for a few weeks.. it's hard work that is not as fun as it's first 80% of track but it's really important and this is the part when your stuff is no more just amateur hobby but is becoming more pro.
