I used to really be into my Death metal, grindcore, punk ect when I was in my teens in the early 90's.
Came across this vid the other day. It was one of my favorite tracks back then. I can't stop listening to it at the moment. I reckon it would make a sick DNB track. I started making a mix, but I'm not happy with the sound. Funnily enough, I used to be in a few terrible 'bands' back then. Never played live, but we used to alway jam this track.
I saw Bolt Thrower for the first time in 91. I got chatting to Jo Bench, the bird playing bass, She invited me to a back stage party with the rest of the band at the Marquee in London. Couldn't stay unfortunately, because I was sitting exams the next day
In hind site, I should of stayed, because I failed my resits misserably
This tune by Skinlab always spring to mind when I think about doing dnb remixes of metal tunes. They are just so heavy and brutal, but with really great melodies. Love it.
I'd love to do a remix of a Deftone's tune too. Looove them.

I tell you what mate. Carcass were absolutely sick, not sure if they're still going. Bill Steer (vocalist) turned up at a mate of mines party in Stamford Hill (N. London) and just after his mrs came out of the bathroom, they left abruptly. Strangely enough, some jewlery belonging to my mates mrs disappeared at the same time. Not saying Bill is a teeth, but his mrs...
Earache was my label of choice in the early-mid 90's. Used to love Godflesh. One of my favorites.
Edit: won't let me link it for some reason
Listening to these early 90's tracks is giving me loads of ideas
Ha ha, forgot about this band. Were a great band live. This has the beats already. Did loads of wicked track. Digital Hardcore FTW
Nice one Tomos, maybe the next comp could be a metal remix

Yes! I've actually seen all those bands several times during their really, really good years - the Burn My Eyes, Far Beyond Driven, Chaos AD tours. Those were the days...
