It's one of those tracks I starded and after working on it a bit more earlyer today I figured I'll possibly never finish it. Not that it's really bad, but you know, some tracks are more intresting to work on than others...
It started out as a go at the Misfilter remix contest. Started working on a Drum 'n' Bass adaption of their "Sunshine from the Rain" but I kept dropping things from the original and kept adding other stuff, ending up with this. Only thing that's in there is the string like pads, which are sooo standard, with a melody that has been done a million times over, so there's no problem in leaving them in 
Just wanted to share this with you, maybe you guys like it after all, maybe someone wants to remix, maybe it just stinks... it all doesn't matter

First impression: damn that snare is loud
I like the general idea, I like that fast phat line that starts at 0:43 and 2:54, and I like the pad line the least, it's bog standard indeed so you could say that it's boring 
Also the wide bright synth line that supplements the pad line ( 1:48 ) is not very good IMO, it's too simple...
The build up in the beginning is very good I think, I like the drums too, but those are still in a very early stage. Lots of mixing work to do, but you probably know this since you abandoned the track when it was half finished 
To be honest better start off a new track with a fresh idea of your own!!!

personally, i think it's pretty good considering it's not finished and all that...yeah, the synths/pads aren't innovative or whatever, but i hate it when people hate on dnb cuz it's not 'innovative' or 'original' enough---i'd rather hear a standard, 'cliche' tune that's well-written and sounds cool than something that's totally off-the-wall, original, but not very pleasing to the ear...this tune is a hell of a lot better than alot of stuff that you find on all the different message boards that claims to be 'original'...

hey,
I think u can make something of this one!!!
maybe add a bit variation to ur drums!!
I really like the beginning..a 'lil bit spooky
maybe u can add a scream before u drop it...
I think that would be really cool!! 
othrwise not bad!

hey nice intro and good drum kit.
The eq. is very good.
Synth trash are ok.
Snare are good for me is not loud.
Nice combination.
the bass could be more loud.
just the pad beggin at 1:48 i don´t like.

really love the intro...
but you lose me when the tune starts; around 0:43...
really don't like the main melody/bassline. can't really pinpoint why tho... but you pick me up again in the part around 1:27 and 2:54
after it's the same piece that i don't like
you sure have some potential, you can have a killerintro but i don't like the main/leading bassline...
just my thoughts

rrrrhehehe this bassline is go bad
feeling it in my stomac all the way!
melody is very fine too!
but don't like the beats :/ they don't blend.. rides are too loud, snares are too loud..
but the basic idea is there and is very good!
work this out!

Not a bad tune, I like the way the snare drum is mixed. I just wish it were longer, and that possibly the kick drum were a little more audible during the parts with bass. I like the song though.
