Bass sounds really muddy and overpowered. EQ the freq range 250-800Hz a bit lower. Some drum variations sound pretty random and don't fit with the rest.

ez man, likin the synths in the intro, although i'd say the engineering side needs a lot of work, snare has a nice sound to it but needs to have a bit more snap to cut thru the mix better

low end is very muddy, the kick is very boomy i'd take out some low end from it and make sure it punches thru at the right frequency (80 - 110hz) so it sits with the sub

with some harder eq'in this could be a wicked tune! Bigup

Hello mate, im new to this site. i know quite a bit about drum and bass, soo this is my first ever review. Big Grin Big Grin

right.
This is not a bad track at all mate.
just a few problems, though.
The introduction sounds ok, its just that it sounds a bit too repeatative and slightly dull. try adding some nice complex sweeps, maybe even a light sub?
in dnb, a great intro requires just a few big changes, and a LOT of minor ones. some you may not even notice, but they keep the rythm going.
the drop is quite nice to be fair.

quality bass in my opinion, its just the sub is overlapping that crunchy mid-line. nice neuro/techy vibes.
try and add a bit more varied movement, perhaps in the second drop.
drums sound quite clean and nice, dont see any major issues.

But, i enjoyed listening to this, and tell me if my reviewing is good or not, cuz this is the first time im doing this hehe.
good stuff! enjoyed lsitening to it.

peace out mate! looking forward to seeing your other stuff.

- Muzzy.
x
