i do this for empty tracks too to clear out effects if i got like 8 in one track. i have saved preset effect lists for mastering that i use for most tracks.

If I want to move all the stuff from one mixer channel to another (or copy) I always save to "untitled" because it is the first thing I get offered Big Grin I never bother to type a decent name because later on I don't want to have it anymore anyway.
I always start from a complete empty mixer.

you should orgnaize it better, you might use it some time later on.

i'll usually organize it with two names, one bieng the category the other describing more the aim of the effects.

examples:

Mixer - Master Preset +6db
Vocal - Autotune 200hz rolloff
Drums - Punchy Distortion
