hI all.
I'm rewiring FL8 and Reason with Reason as the client. Everything is working ok, but can I link multiple Malstrom's together and use them as one synth and assign it to ONE midi channel? At the moment each Malmstrom is being assigned to its own midi channel. Maybe with the combinator? The name kinda suggests this but I'm not too clued up with Reason.

make a combi, then inside put a 14:2 mixer, then put in the three malstroms after that (they should automatically route into the mixer) then select the combi in a midi track in fl it will play all three malstroms Wink

if you want to process the audio from the three malstroms on their own flip the rack (tab) and put the out put of the combi into a seperate input on the interface (the box at the top)

joking ofcourse, I used to do that collabing with a mate

yes, as demure suggests, combine a bunch of malstrom you want to play at once, then assign frootys midi channel to that combi, that way playing notes in fl should trigger the combinator, playing all malstroms at once

edit: whoops seems you already got your answer, I really should start reading whole threads
