I think it works with a database that keeps all the previous conversations, and it will try to pick relevant sentences out of them. That's probably why it comes up with the 'you robot, me human' stuff all the time, it has been written by visitors in the past.
It forgets everything you said after 2 or 3 sentences, that's probably to keep the amount of processing down.

it answers or questions according to the words you typed , written by other people who answered or questioned the bot.
it doesnt "forget" , because it has no memmory , it isnt even a "it"... its the same like chatting with someone but then pretending it to be a robot
and yeah ofcoarse it works with a database
i dont see the fun in it
