Please check out my new track 'Sf - Nervous Breakdown Ii' and post your comments here!
Note: Update of 'Nervous Breakdown'.
I decided to drop the rave synth and went for a fullblown neuro(ish) track (suits the name better
).
If someone knows how to recreate a sound like i used in my previous track (the synthstab), let me know!

Really like this track. Im not sure what rave sound you dropped but i'd defo stick with this sound. The neuro sound is nice and crisp and robotic sounding, and the drums sit well, maybe a bit more volume on the snare is needed, but overall a nicely produced track.

pretty cool stuff. the drums are a bit weak, they are clearly heard in fact some of the hits are too loud at times (kick)
but IMO needs a heavier kit, try pitching down what youve got, could work well if the samples were good
otherwise pretty standard stuff, like the sound of the bass

Not bad not bad...
Drums sound like they are a bit overcompressed.
Especially the kick sounds a bit weird, seems to have a lot going on in the higher frequency range. Would like to hear more from this.

Hey mate,
Really really digging this tune. Sounds very dark and moody, I think it has a LOT of potential.
I am of the personal belief that the snare should be more punchy than the kick. Out of all the drum elements in Drum and Bass, I think the snare has the most flexibility and character out of all the elements.
Listen to your favourite DnB tracks, the kick always sounds really dull. It cuts through the mix, and its audible, it's important of course, but the music is so fast and the kick has to sit just above a sub and just below the low-end snare; there isn't much frequency room to play around with and you don't want it to dominate the low-end of the mix because there are other important elements of the tune.
So, in my humble opinion, I think you should maybe tone the punchiness of the kick down and focus a little more on getting that snare to cut through the mix. The bassline is SICK and the drums complement it well, if the snare had a little more punch and air in the mix, then your track would be amazing. It's already really good mate, I could see this being on a label after its polished up a bit!

Not bad man...although I do think the kicks and snares need a little work. Basslines pretty decen tho. All in all a good track! Big up
