My 2nd effort. Im happy with the overall production and structure, but not so sure about the levels/mastering. Gimme your opinion if you get chance. I used FL 8 and Nuendo 3. Vocal is cool. Can't hear the kick it, but the loop rolls very nice i have to say. (work that kick!) I fkin love the sample @ 2:28!!! Reminds me of an old hardcore track (english muffin from lenny dee) Track has a nice vibe going but the kick and the roll overall needs work. The bass is lost when all the beats come on, I guess that's because you have so many hihats that are fighting for space. The snare is a bit quiet, turn it up. Oh, so you added another snare on top. Sounds ok now, but still thinking that first snare should be louder in the first part. You can lower its' volume after that. I can't hear the kick. Try searching the .be for sidechaining, so you can make that kick fire through the bass. And layer another, high-freq kick on top of it, makes it pop. Nice fx and vocals, used fine. One more FX pad sample is needed in the intro. try to cut down the dely in the envelope on that Amen type break. That snare coming in really reminds me of some older 90's type vibes. Really AK1200 sounding tune here. Ever heard prepare for assault? MARIJUANA!!!! weird falling piano sound in the drop. I'd say it still needs a little work in sound shaping just to really catch the mind. Really well thought out though and the idea is mega bombastic. I did have an extra FX sample in the intro, but took it out as i couldnt hear the opening Computer sample well enuff. I'll look at that again but maybe lower the sample I've never heard that 'Prepare For Assault' track. And you have some nice wicked sound effects . I tried using the 3 x osc, but came nowhere near recreating Sevens bass's.
