Since Nightscapes is very interested in and very openminded for new talent in dnb and techno and I already got messages from dj's who wanted to play, we decided to organise a dj contest for both of the genres for dj's who have enough talent to play for a big crowd but don't get many opportunities to prove themselves.
How to participate?
- Send an audio mix cd (60 - 70 minutes) and your profile to:

(for the dnb mixes) -> the adres for the technomixes will be revealed later on.
- The deadline for sending in the mixes lies on the 20th of July.
- The mixes will be listened and judged by an independent and objective jury.
- 6 Mixes will be chosen and the people who are responsable for the mixes can come and spin a 50 minutes set at the Nightscapes site in the afternoon of the 7th of August where they will be judged by the jury again (so don't send us a DJ Craze mixtape and look like a fool then ).
- The winner of this contest can open the Nightscapes event the same evening and gets free drink tickets.
- Off course the partypeople and partypromotors (who are also interested in new talent) are invited to come over in the afternoon already to enjoy the beautiful weather (hopefully), have a chat, a drink and a smoke to prepare themselves for when the night falls
