did someone say dark heads? Devil Big Grin

not sure if u uploaded this here before but its my first listen, those rides or hipassed amen whatever it is and then the additional percussion that comes in shortly after is really ear piercing, i'd roll off some hi end, the beat sounds way too resonant imo

some nasty fx and synths here sounding good, interesting beat pattern, not sure if its sustainable throughout the track, maybe just use it for the intro and switch to somethin else? either that or maybe just stick a few beat edits in to change it up more)

i'm likin the vibe n feel of this one but i'd say sort out the resy beat as thats something that is really sticking out Wink

some cool sounds in there. i agree with ketz on the issue of the hats. the transition to 2nd drop is ok but overall the track is a bit boring. when the 1st drop came i thought it was still the intro but with bass. mix is pretty good though (except the hats) i can hear everything pretty well.

Ketz has got it pretty much bang on here I reckon. I actually like that snare sound but, in general, the mix sounds quite nauseating at high volume. It's really not comfortable listening to the hissy hi hats. They are stereo panned quite wide, which makes them sound quite strange through headphones.

Melody-wise, I think the tune would benefit from more variation. It's too static. Not enough is happening in terms of vibe and atmosphere. The background sub is a little too subtle.

This one has quite a way to go I reckon. To me, it sounds 40% finished (or 60% unfinished).

sounds loud i will say that needed to turn the cans down Big Grin im no dark head but its sounding cool to me. i think to pull off this style the bass needs a lot more movement as there aint much beats to keep interest the bass sound is nice but it does need modulating in some way. needs more change ups and flair imo sounds a bit relaxing rather than in your face and brutish wich is what i beleive would suit it a lot better nice sounds though

what a cool track name

why is there an amen in almost every tune I hear on the site tonight. a real amenessaince!

the hihats are just wrong, sound too high end, and this is IMO, I think a tune of this type would benefit of totally different approach to hats, less decay, more low pitch hardness, more like ghost hits of which youre uncertain are they short snares or hats, they are that hard

snare is too pitched up. when I look at what I write in a review, its almost always about too high pitched drums, so you can image me at home going nuts with loops on the -4 octave. no Im not, and the pitching may not be as radical as my suggestiion might make you think so, but sometimes a real tiny drop in pitch makes a world of difference

weird warp with the bassline, got my face twirling for sure!

but not much bass in there, the subs I hear, not sure about it, notes feel wrong

dunno, sounds interesting though, the vibe is real netherworld, but work more on them sounds

I really like the groove you have going here! The shuffle is most awesome. Hats are WAY too loud though, they hurt man OW! Loving the half speed vibe with the break. Try sidechain compressing the hats to the kick. Snare is good, could do with a nice big plate reverb and a little more punch though. Adjust the envelope controls on your redrum (if your using it) to make the snare shorter and more precise. Then give it its tail back with a nice bit or reverb. That way it will cut through the mix yet still seem massive! Kick is good not amazing but not bad either.

The synth noises are a bit bland, nothing special. They need more filtering and modulation, it would make it less monotonous. Get automating! Try using the Spider Audio splitter and bussing some stuff then modulating it to give it some movement. Again sidecahining would be tidy.

It doesnt really build up or down, it feels consistent throughout.

With the right mixdown and some extra programming this could be an epic mosh pit starting monster!
