I don't know a great deal about dubstep, but the song sounds real nice, my only complaint is that you bass pretty much covers the same pattern as most other tracks I have heard. I don't mean note wise, more the predictable Whump, Whump, whump, wh,wh,wh, whump, whump, whump. ect. I'm sure there are other pattern that could be used.
Anyway Jimmi, that wasn't a dig at you! Just an observation.
Like the song a lot, Could immagine it being used in a film.
I'm with Ketz on this. I think that bass is fucking ace! Fantastic simple little melody that's very easy to dance to. My only suggestion would be to turn it down just a touch (or perhaps turn the beats up) because it's coming out very slightly too dominant in the mix.
The beat pattern is cool too but the hits sound a little too dry and simple imo. Might be a good idea to layer some more sounds - perhaps some shakers or hi hats. The kick and snare need to sound bigger and fatter too as well I reckon. Still a great beat tho.
Overall, a super start mate. But I thought you weren't into dubstep and wobbles?

drum pattern is great, nice and punchy and creates am awesome rhythm....think the pads sound a little basic, could use more movement to em, make em a bit more impressive that extra snare coming in is quality....bass sounds great i reckon, love the pattern....2nd build up is quality too, mix sounds nice and clear, like you said could use a few more edits and fills but the structure and arrangement are great.....quality track overall! nice work!!
when the pad enters I recognize it from a tune of mine, now Im not accusing of anything, please dont think that, cause , could it be BUT tis really alike, got in on my breaks myspace called retribution --->>> bia, even the notes are similar or the key. remember you liked that ione so actually its not that weird. anyways listen to that and tell me what you think
when the biting bass starts it really drops and settles into its own, yeah it needs a couple more fx to round up, but what youve got here is hot!
after a few times it grows on you
but also dunno why the spoken bit kind of bothered me after hearing it a copule of times, Id really put something memorable there
and thats only a minor speck on an otherwise absolute stomper!
what can i say this tune rocks! you clearly know how to get the most out of Reason 4. sounds really pro in my opinion. love the bass, beats are top too. Build up really fits the drop and the main groove. Great effort mate, get it finished! If i heard this at a dubstep night i'd definitely be on my feet!! respect Jimmy.
IMHO fuck what all of them say, great track, after it's mastered it'll sound more coherant. it's a great bassline and good beat. i been trying to dot eh dubstep shit for a bit, so this sounds right, and commercial to me. so just kinda understand, you got it sounding good. make moar.

I did want to avoid the wobble bass in fear of being a little generic but i started playing with a patch i made a while back and it seemed to fit perfectly

Not worked on this for a little while,
But have made a few adjustments:
Made the sub more defined so that it modulates with the bass sound more.
done a few edits.
and taken the vocal out, iv used it before and i think i could find something much better for it.
