lol I fixed my keyboard in pretty much the same way, my small bedside table with a box on top of it, and on that my keyboard :p
but it could be better since my coffee machine and alarm clock and stuff are all on my bedside table normally...

IT HELPS!!!! I read that in a science magazine lol, other things: choose a room with a lot of space from the floor to the roof (high walls or whatever) and COLLABING. "Be playful" was actually one of the things listed too, everyone should know these things when building a studio!
Personally I always have a blueish desktop background...

Well, it is a toy. Actually, more like a fancy VST instrument. You can't work on it in standalone mode.

I'm just saying, FL Studio is a child's toy, and that's why you can't be pro and work in standalone mode.
You can't even make a drum beat, let aside work with instruments and notes inside.
FL Studio is not a legitimate music production program. It sux, big time. I comply with this claim which came from the people that turned FL on one time, and it just didn't click for them.
flstudio is like reason, sucks balls. anyone that pretends to make music on it, should be shot. it really is not even considered slightly pro, why don't people know this??? we should tell the world!

what, reason? its a childs toy, no less. just awful, awful stereo separation. sound quality is bad, lots of noise generation. not to mention the abysmal sequencer, stripped of most basic functions like mass pitch adjustment. also, there are limited colors for bars, the fact they didnt include the 16million color pallete is plain unprofessional. by gods, what were they thinking?!

read on cm, lookup reason vs pro tools the only difference between the two mixes was a tiny bit of top end sparkle was missing
oh god, and talk about non-pro programs, look at logic, there's no way any pro would use that, there's just so much shit on there. it's like if you want to record vocals, you might as well just learn to be a nuclear physician. after using it for a few days i still didn't know which buttons did what, no labels, they make you pay out the ass for it, and it's only on mac. what pro uses macs!!!!
