Previously I had just been making Dnb, and I know certain people who could get my tunes heard. Now I am also making other stuff, like dubstep and minimal techno, and was just wondering what the best way to promote my tunes would be?

If someone could explain aim to me that would be good, and also just the best way to promote my tunes. Ive got myspace obviously, but I want to be able to directly send my shit to people.

AIM

thats the best way to send stuff out in dnb.

not so sure about other genres but im sure its fairly similar.

Te best way to go about getting AIM address is to message the labels directly and tell them you want to send a demo to them.

Most labels will be happy enough to give it out.

Some labels will have their AIM listed on their website so that makes things even easier.

Just get in contact with the labels you think would be interested in your tunes

and network with people who make similar music. I they get signed they are your best introduction to a label.
