I decided to go balls out and just "rap" on top of this topsy turvy jingle. Check it out and let me know what you think...advice really appreciated on it...do you think it has potential? I did everything in Reason including the vocals imported as wav's then synced by eye...so until I can get protools up and running this is how its gonna be...enjoy!
Very nice flow in the vocals!! Nicely synced, it's very tight rhythmically. The effect on the vocal is not really my thing though, it sounds pitched and distorted.
The drums are maybe a bit too sparse in the intro. Mind that they are nicely programmed, they are very much alive
I like the divebombing sound effects at 00:40, cool way to introduce the vocals.
Levels are ok by my standards, bit dull in the high end, but that's probably the mp3.

Much thanks Chronic...yeah I really went out on a limb with this one...a lot of my friends told me drum was too sparse and confusing in the beginning...gonna fill that out...mix sounds a little flat to me as a whole, I still need to record the third and fourth verses maybe a little chorus...tweak and then rewire into something a little more powerful. Cause right now there is no "effect" on the vocals despite a little tube warmth and the vocal capacity of Reason... Will def. post the final version...

vocal sample at the start is cool....nice idea with the intro, real nice idea....just not pulled off too well.....needs to sound a bit harder and clearer...lol the rapping aint too bad at all...distorted effect on em is a bit wierd tho, some good arrangement throughout which create a nice rhythm....got the potential to be real good...would love to remix this track man, its got a great feel to it and a good idea...niec stuff!
Interesting tune mate. Almost sounds like a NIN tune at times. Very experimental. I like it. I would disagree with Seph about the vocals tho - I think the distortion sounds great. I don't think they would sit right in the mix if they were clean. They would stand out too much against the dirty-sounding mix. That bass sound is really, really good mate. It's probably the highlight of the tune for me. The rapping is pretty nifty too. Good tune with lots of potential - needs to be longer tho.

Very nice Dethworm, so many styles in 2 minutes. After only one listen so far i can tell it'l be one of them tracks where you hear different sounds each time you listen to it.
Very professional sounding throughout, and as above, love the intro man. The rap fits in nicely too (is that you?? sorry im new around these parts) really gritty.
