Please check out my new track 'Current Value - Faith Rmx' and post your comments here!

This is a remix I did of a Current Value tune. It's still in works so don't be too harsh. (: Please listen to the original track first. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rGAewckMc8

Really proper half time business bruv, I love it. If this were to see a vinyl or mp3 release, I would double the length of the intro for a little more time to smoothly mix between tracks, and maybe also throw in a second drop! Really good stuff!

Whoops, it seems I double posted. Frown

Did you cut the samples from the original track or did you get isolated hits from CV himself? Big Grin

Definitely a work in progress. It gets very repetitive. But you are on the right track my friend. The bassline needs a little more mids or something. Maybe a dimension expander if you don't already have one on it. You need to make it punch through a little more, but not too much just a tad. I like the drumz they are good. You could even add a little more shuffle in there. Something i tend to struggle with myself. Good stuff.

that hat at 1:15 is way too loud. The mix in general is pretty loud...keep it down a bit man Wink 2:20 definitely too loud. The bass is pretty good although its missing someting. More warmth in the mids would be good. Also widening in stereo a bit would make it better. Work on the mix, the sounds are good. cheers

The intro is too short. The bass gets very repetitive after a while. I dont like the snare sample. The hats has too much hi-end i think. I cant hear too much sub in this one. If its because of my shitty speakers just forget about it mateBig Grin
Its not my style at all so my review could seems harsh, sorry mateWink
Btw you could be on the right track indeed because i found this one better than the original Bigup

I love the vibe of this, a nice head nodder but the snare needs a layer on it to snap some necks Wink .
As alreadysaid, lower the hats a little and bang in some distorted 808's.
Overall though, i'm liking what i'm hearing. Nice one Happy
