copyright law is made to be broken. it's part of the fair use.
it's only illegal to break copyright law to profit from it. if you try to sell, or make revenue from illegal copyrighted samples. and that's only if it's 'recognizable' which is really open to interpretation. on that note, they can only sue you for any revenue you made using their sample, up to the percentage of the song it's a part of.
so you made 100 bucks off a song, they figure 23% of it is some movie sample, they can sue you for 23 bucks.
any folders you find on the net are fair to browser.
webhosters can stop people from accessing it. you have to set permissions to allow people to view, and also allow permission to allow them to edit it even. if they do not set the proper permissions on their folders, then it's there fault. you have 100% right to access what's on the net. you googl'd it even, it's not like you hacked it.

Exactly. If you make a remix of a track, for instance, in your home, that's completely legal. Even if the state finds out, it is legal because you're not making any profit (cash or moral, whatsoever) and you're doing that tune for yourself.
Even so, if you put that remix totally for free somewhere (e.g. web-site, internet radio, etc.), it is legal. Unless you're making moral profit from it (using the sample to increase your popularity which indirectly will lead to money).

yeah this is a nice trick. You don't need to type the question marks btw. Downloading and listening to these samples is probably legal, but putting them in your own music is definitely not legal as you always need a written permission for every sample you use which you have not made yourself.

Been playing around some more with this nifty "intitle:index.of? wav bass" trick
I found the Seven Gun bass pack on another site 
furthermore this site was hosting cracked vst warez so I quickly closed my browser to avoid seeing that.
