I definitely wanted a hybrid. I've been waiting for over a decade for this technology to become available and now I just couldn't buy a car without it.
I remember learning about entropy, energy states and Newton's laws as a kid and I was appalled to learn that so much energy is wasted by just letting it radiate away as heat. I remember drawing up plans of ways to store kinetic energy of cars during braking, but the giant marble flywheels I envisaged were a bit too cumbersome to use
I only did 150 km with it up to now but damn does it drive smooth and quiet. And the fuel meter doesn't seem to move at all
But as I expected if I want to reach the promised ultra low fuel consumption I will have to drive like a grandmother.

im all two wheels any how,
gonna be a long long time till a hybrid gsxr comes out.
(and clarkson dont like bikes either).
(could you imagine a hybrid ducati? makes no sence what so ever).

oh and please do watch out for other road users,
while your eagerly watching your magical mpg meter rise from 40 to 42 whilst keeping to a pedestrian 38.983752891086342mph,
others are "parked up" behind you saying "wot bloody idiot is driving that thing",
