ez dotbe, its been a while since i uploaded anything and to be perfectly honest the main reason is i haven't got any finished (nicely polished) tunes in a while, i've reached the point where the majority of my tunes just don't make the cut anymore (as i become increasingly self critical with my productions)
nothing special here, real rough round the edges, something that i went insane over while tryin to engineer right, but ofcourse always happy to hear what u guys have to say, who knows it might inspire me to finish this one lol!

ez mate , i think ive heard this before , nice and crisp , i would like to hear some reverbed crashes , not sure that fx on the drop work that well , i think the drop doesent need them maybe bring them in later or change them a bit , and i think that there needs to be some extra percussive elements , hats n shit to roll it along more as there doesent seem to be any progression to the track , if u know what i mean !!

That repetitive synth is kinda annoying, for me at least. No hard feelins, but I jus dont feel it. I definet' luv the drums, nd how they stick to th track.
Towards th end its fantastic!

nice punchy break, works well with the sub... cool synthy bass! liking the atmospheric sounds man, nice track ketz! i agree with alternate force here, some additional hats would be wicked... nice track mate!

No question about it. You said it is rough around the edges, but to me this sounds very professional. If you listen closely, you can hear a lot of little tweaks and variations. Those little touches really make the difference mate. It gives it depth - makes it sound different every time you listen to it as you notice new things. The way you build the melodies is excellent. You manage to layer several different things on top of each other and still get it to sound perfectly natural. Can't hear any conflicts either, sound-wise.
My only slight gripe is the amount of stereo panning on your main bass. Sounds a tad hollow on my headphones. Perhaps you could layer it with another bass sound that is centred. This may give it a more solid, fat sound.
Overall, seriously good mate, imo. Nice to hear a moody drum n bass tune that has energy but isn't noisy as hell.

yeah totally agree i need some extra percussion particularly during the beat edits so not to worry i will get round to that eventually!
@ Tomos - thanks once again mate always value ur input, the "hollowness" in the bass is being caused by a notch i made to clear up some muddiness in the mids, looks like i took too much out haha i'll try n get some more beef in there
anyways i've sat on this one for long enough, i'll see if u can graft my way to finishing it up! thanks again folks

Oh hai.
Sounds nice, im loving the intro.
Only thing that bothered me were the Drums. They are a little too loud/prominent imo.

The drums are crisp and roll along nicely. Imo that growly bass needs to have more "umph". All the instruments sit together well. The drums are defo my favourite element of the track. Would like to see more filthy bass going on. (but I always say that) Hope to hear the finished version...
OMG This track is frakin awesome... Love the drums they roll very nicely. All the sounds fit perfectly with each other. Tensions and drops are great. The only thing I can think of at the moment is a more prominent bassline. Something with a little more hook. That is all.

@ Gregg thanks for the encouraging words i defo am gna put the time n effort in to finish this proplerly, its the problem when spending a ridiculous amount of time listenin, mixing, eqin to the same sound constantly tough for the motivation haha!

anyways all that said i'm glad overall this has had a positive response, i've been trying to get some more atmospheric / melodic elements into my tunes so its not just dark per se, watch this space i have some more stuff on the go of a similar ilk
ok listening as im writing. wow sounding good man. drums on intro sound hard and nice. vocal is good. good variation through out. sub sounds good. that other base sund is not sounding right to mee for some reason, maybe too wide, try summit crunchier layerd in wiht it in the center. nice atmos at about 3:00 good build up again, ohhh its finished. well over all really good production skills coming along good there mate. that base growl sound needs soeting and maybe a few fx or vox stabs running in the baground too. well done thought sounds very pro. show me more!!!!
Good start. Programming with the drums isn't adventurous enough, for my tastes. Arrangement is quite sparse, not much appenin, towards a nice big crescendo. Needs a hook, or something to stand it out. Overall tho, a good effort.
really commercial track, sounds just like if it was produced by a profeccional dnb producer, everything is nice and shiny.
this track is really atmochperic, and theres not enough dynamics to my taste. i mean, thats not the style i usualy listen to, ind i dont think i can dance to it ) but anyway track is absolutely fine.
