Please check out my new track 'Restricted Area Final' and post your comments here!
Fl Studio 8 vs Reason 3, wave plugins and Ozone 3 for the master.
Was a pretty huge load of work to get to this finished tune. I looked pretty close on what you guys reviewed in the first place and tried my best to realize it.
Main changes are the length, the structure, drops (tension aso), the drums that have now more space in the mix and come through better and the bass that is slightly different eq-ed and got some nice variation later in the tune.
Turn it up!

very nice indeed, work paid out... the bass in intro and after drop is wicked, pads create a nice atmosphere... drums punch good. good variation, likin the parts with slower beat, cool dark n sometimes mysterious theme, nothing to critisize here, big ups! enjoyed this!

Intro is a bit too weird/experimental compared to the rest of the tune which is a bit more mainstream.
Good structure, mixdown has improved. Rides are sometimes played in extreme stereo and other times mono. Chose, you can't have both
.
Good stuff.

Thanks for your words!
Not sure if I can work the repetitiveness anymore, I’m running out of ideas
.
By panning the rides I wanted to underline the difference between half time and full speed parts but if it’s too extreme I’ll fix that forsure.
Anyone else?

Like this intro a lot, very deep sounding. The synth is very cool. For some reason it stops streaming at 00:58 seconds. Send a clip to me in a PM and I will give it a better review. Cheers bruv. Cheers.

I love the main bass line...I think the intro is a little slow on the build up. I think either add some more sounds or maybe shorten it a bit. The tension before it drops could build up a little more. But I loved the pause with the drums building up. Listening to it on laptop speakers the high end (hi-hat, ride-cymbal?) sound very bled out. They are completely overpowering. When I make my tunes I try to EQ the track to sound good on even the worst speakers. Cause if it sounds good on bad speakers you know It will sound good in a club. Also the drum beat is killer the kick drum and the snare stand out alot so that is definitely good. At 3:25 when you bring in the other bass line that sound is absolutely amazing. I wish it were in the beginning of the track. You saved the best for last but by that time you have lost a lot of listeners.

I fixed the high end and tweaked the master eq so that it’s listenable on higher volumes, too.
Thx for the reviews!

Not much to say but pretty good mate. All sounds fit nice , good mixdown.
Only thing I can hear and I could be wrong, is the snare sounds that its just about not clear enough in the very top end. Drowned a bit with verb?
It needs the extra "psssh" at the top, not as much as a pendulum snare but just a bit to pop through a bit better. Just my 2 pence.
nice tune
