The vocals still need some work, and are a bit too loud. Not too sure on the structure. I wante'd it to have an oldschool feel to it.

Any comments or criticism would be really appreciated.

Very nice track! I like its atmosphere a lot. As you said the vocals are a bit loud. The pads could have a bit more low end imo. I like the sounds you used. The vocals are nice but you used them too much times. The drums are sweet. Like the variations on it. Maybe you should work a bit more on the velocities tho.
Good work i enjoyed it a lot Bigup

Btw its a bit long imo.

It's fantastic. The voice doesn't always seem to feet with the drums, but other that that it's lovely.

love the vocal goes really well , beats r just the norm , no great prizes 4 them , but thats ok !!

dident care to much 4 the strings they sound nice in places but sound abit flat without the right sounds on them , sometimes hard to do them thou granted !!

overall , i think there could be some more good eqing needed , really nice thou !!

padz n vocals pretty great....reckon the vocal slips just out of tune occasionally

Rollin nicely once the bass drops man Bigup

that first breakdowns a bit lengthy imo and doesnt really peak when it drops.....I don't think you need it..if you do I'd make the section before it shorter

mmm...breaks down again at 4:15??? not sure

Potential to be huge tune imo but structure definately not right atm

pads sound great, nice and dreamy....vocal is great, really nice....build up is all good, drums sound good, maybe takes a bit too long to build up or theres not enough going on to sustain interest, theres a little vocal sample at the start of the break you've used (a high-pitched squeek), id get rid of that, plays every bar and gets a bit annoying.....some really nice breakdown sections like @ 3:00 mins, think you should get more percussion in sections like these, get em moving more....some cool drum edits round the 6:00 min mark too, really nice stuff overall, track is just a bit too long and repititive imo, nice stuff tho, great pads!

Thanks for all of the input. I made some changes, then my project file went corrupt. Now all that remains is a 192kbs instrumental. Mad

I'm going to try to work off of this and salvage it even if it isn't 320 kbs.

You really nailed the old school feel with the bass and the drum work is solid. I like the introspective feel of it and the constant builds and breakdowns - Feels like you're succeeding at maintaining interest without issue. The overall structure seems a little opaque though.

My only complaint is the vocals occasionally jump into a different key/mode outside of the , particularly on the line "something something...to be alive" and the phrase after "How am I supposed to try". Vocal also a bit out at 3:24. Was the vocal originally over two alternating chords? Sounds like that's where the root of the problem is.

The bells-type instrument at ~2:20 sparkles and is a really nice touch. Good job

the tune has some good things to it, as a nice groove and feel.

But to be honest, I found it quite empty and the elements didn’t really attract my interest or entertain me. It seems like you’ve then brought in a vocal to fill up the empty space that doesn’t even fit the pitch of your melodies…

Seems to be not my type of thing, sorry.

Lovely oldskool pads!
Some vocals sound off tone, maybe you should use less vocals and do more things with them like using a little bit with dub echoes or something.
Lead sound (percussive one) is a bit overrinsed.
Just after 3' tune sounds empty (because those big pads are gone) begs for some mid bass elements to fill things out. Would have liked it if you would have layered some new elements in the breaks.
Sound really really good. Fix vocals, add some creativitiy and a tad of midbass here and there and you have a winner tune.

Thanks. I still managed to get the instrumental version. I replace the vocals and stuff too. Hopefully the new version will be better.

like the pads can see why they have been popular and the vocal in the intro is a nice touch too,
very old school vibe wich is cool. nice organ type sound comin in sounding real nice tbh and everything is nice and clear as well moves slowly but still stayin interesting. it probably could be a bit shorter imo i know though that you lost the file wich is sad to hear its a cool track really chilled with a lovely vibe top work good luck salvaging it Wink
