So there's this specific kind of bass that has been used quite a lot in liquid. I'd like to know how I can re-create it.

It's the bass-sound used in eg:

Artificial Intelligence - Desperado
Chase & Status - Take Me Away

and recently also in Chase & Status - Saxon

can anyone help me out with this?
all i know is i'll need lfo on the filter cutoff Big Grin

its square waves slightly detuned on top of a sine being modulated by a lp filter and an lfo mate

i think anyway
i have a similar patch i made that you can have

oh i believe the lfo is tempo synced to 3/16

I think this gets pretty close (FL Studio, 1 3xOsc)
