I saw a tutorial on the love filter awhile back but can't seem to remember where. I think someone was doing a tut on creating a reese and the last part was on the filter.
Anyone have any ideas?

Ah! I just found it as well :p

I don't like the tutorial very much though, the love philter has some nasty habits you need to know about : for example if you have an 8-bar riff and you make a looping love philter modulation on it, it will loop 'even if you are not playing the riff', meaning that it will play correctly if you start on bar 1, or bar 9, or bar 17...

Which is really anoying...

Look up "downloadhelper", a firefox plugin that does an excellent job on collecting movies/audio from websites on 'their list', but it's a really big list that covers pretty much everything except for certain flash-embedded videos made particulary for one site (for example hansteeuwen.tv ;-) )

but works very well!

Which is really anoying...

If you automate the pattern number you trigger up to 10 different patterns anywhere in your song, instead of just looping the one pattern over and over...

I know, but the problem is like this...

My loop: OoooOooo (2 bars)
The playlist: OoooOoooOoooOoooOooo (and on and on and on of course)

There doesn't seem to be a "normal" way of getting my loop to start here:
OoooOoooOoooOoooOooo

Because even if I only have notes there, the pattern in the love philter will still be playing like this (starting at the bold letters), disregarding my notes:
OoooOoooOoooOoooOooo

The result being:
Oooo : Nothing to be heard, yet half of the love philter pattern is already played
Oooo : The first half of my notes and the second half of the LPH pattern played
Oooo : Second half of the notes and the first half of the LPH pattern

Whereas I'd obviously want the LPH pattern to start only when a first note is played, and if the LPH pattern has played one time it should have to stop if nothing is played anymore.

That's how I would find the system logical and obvious...

Isn't this how most other filters work though? All the ones I've tried at least.

well maybe it is indeed how most filters work, but I was hoping for the love philter to react like Attack/Sustain/decay/release, for the things I want to do with it it would be very handy

got this problem with the love philter was following the tutorial on making a reese bass but when love philter is active as soon as i release the note played on the keyboard it goes silent, and all other played afterwards. have to disengage Philter and reengage to hear anything but same thing happens

never mind found out what it is apparently love philter automatically sets it's self to what ever midi channel you have chosen for your controller if there is a way around this lil problem that would be great any ideas ?
