Horizons Music move forward with its plans for World domination, as
each successive release continues to cement their reputation as one of
the coolest labels in town. Stepping up to deliver a sampler to his
forthcoming album entitled ‘Future is Yours’, Resound shows exactly
why labels such as Shy FX’s Digital Soundboy have been picking up on
him of late with a pair of devastatingly subtle beauties. ‘Carbon
Soul’ is packed with effortless class, vibrating sound FX and bouncing
nuggets of bass, all blended together to create a slick sound smoothie
that dancefloors will drink down (I mean, honestly, who writes this
stuff?). Flip over for ‘Snow & Smoke’ a beautiful vocal affair whose
sound harks back to the incredible Matrix remix of Kirsty Hawkshaw’s
‘Leafy Lane’… stunning! Keep an ear out for Resound’s own vocals
providing some harmonic accompaniment too. Next up Horizons033 Blocks
