so i haven't posted or made a DnB tune in awhile and the last was a joke. half ass production.
pumped this out 2nite. dunno if i want to say its done cause i may throw some vox on it! hope u guys enjoy!
hi , i think the hats sound a bit too normal , sounds like some reason hats , not sure the bass comes in like a ton of bricks , with no sort of gap to tell u theres a drop coming
, too heavy and there needs to be some rolling amens and stuff like that with the bass , cus its all the same thing !! beats just do the same all the way throu with out many gaps too !!
overall could be alot better , no sort of presance to the track , i like the dark pad at the begining , but this is what i tried to say in a tut i made , about boosting them with an eq to make them sound better , but it wasent appreciated too much , just try to give them a good mid boost , get a reverb on them add a little bit of dry/wet , then quite a bit of decay , just try it , it might work out better , u can only see ??
Nice tune mate. Didn't blow my socks off but the melodies are sweet. It's a laid back dnb tune - something which is suprisingly uncommon I find. Quite refreshing actually. I feel the beats could be 'bigger' tho, especially the snare, which is a bit too thin atm. I'd probably agree with alternate about the kick and hi hats too. I don't like the way the hi hats are panned to the left.
I do really like some of the little things going on in the melodies tho, such as the strings, the higher pitched synths, the FX, the soft background synths. Definitely the strong point of the tune for me. Not so keen on the bassline from 2.12 to 3.05. Sounds quite flat and the melody is a bit uninspiring. The background melodies during that section are excellent tho. Really sweet.
Some potential but still some work needed I reckon. Always good to hear new tunes from you tho.

nice intro man cool beats sounds nice and relaxed too man good choice of sounds i think there could be a bit more definition on the drop,everything sounding clear too man wich is good. mayebe needs a more melodic breakdown i dunno would have like to seen the main synth in the breakdown good idea though man big ups
digging the atmospherics and entire vibe. Really relaxing and introspective. Drums need MORE LAYERS. Bass sound is a little contrived or not too innovative but it sits well with the other sounds. Try to get every sound of the drums nice and loud and in their right frequency ranges. Digging that BASS MODULATION at 1:33. Really low down and funky. I would just play with that bass sound and give the entire track more FX, variation, MORE DRUM SOUNDS and a little more mixing. Really good tho bro and nice and mellow got me zoning out a bit!
