Please check out my new track 'World Of Lights' and post your comments here!
It has a glitch/chillout twist to it, rather than d'n'b. I was in a dreamy state of mind when i did it.
I actually thought of combining different styles but I dunno what to say about it.
I'm new at making electronic dance music, though I've been making music for a few years.
This track has not yet reached its final version.
Anyway, leave a comment to help me out, if you may and let me know where I go wrong.
Thank you and best regards!

ez man and welcome its got nice synths but its not really that glitchy or agressive as my oppinion of glitch is man. the piano elements are nice and that arpegio around the minite mark is a very nice touch its got a good built up that sounds like a trance tune. i think thats the amount of time its takin to get goin i would work on a much shorter intro for starters because 3 mins is a very very long intro man even for chilout imo also u could make the kick and snare more puchy by layering them i think that would add more impact to the effect ur trying to achieve with this track. its also quite repetetive man try and add some different elements in there and finaly there is no sub present at all and i think this is the first track i heard on this site with no sub
work on bringin more elements in and sort the drums add a sub shorten the intro and u could have something much more appealing to listen to peace
liking the bubbly synths.
that brassy sounding synth isnt so good though.
The piano is a bit loud and sounds a little cheap. try out a different sample or vst.
lovely melodies though.
oh I like the sudden change of mood when the beat comes in.
The beat sound a bit too synthetic, Think some nice real drum sounds layered over the top would sound great.
Some of the synth sounds and that piano sound a bit cheap and presety
Nothing wrong with the melodies at all. you've done a great job with them. they work really well with each other. Really sets up a great mood/feel.
That was a a really enjoyable listen actually. Could imagine this on Japanese computer game
hi there and welcome to dnb.be!
well ur clearly very musical, some lovely melodies in this mate
agree that the piano sounds a bit cheap, just have a search around for some better samples theres plenty available online and maybe process them a bit with reverb (and possibly some delay)
wow that kick when it comes in is really loud! scared me after all the chilled melodies, i would definately suggest layering the drums up more as they can sound a tad robotic if u don't (try experimenting chopping / layering some breaks in there to get a better groove going)
Too much stereo going on. Those trancy synths drown in reverb. Drums sound "cheap" so to speak, could do with some more punch and some more action.
It sounds like 2 tunes layered on top of eachother. Stereo reverbed trace riffs on top of extreme dry mono drums. Doesn't feel right.
Great trance stuff, would have liked more D&B oriented trancey stuff though.

Wow
Really like that piano thing.
Maybe more Fx envelopes on the melodie.
Problem for me is the Snare.
You should use a heavier one.
I think this would fit better with the other sounds.
You know errrmmm... somekind of a limewax style snare or something.
What i really like about it is the fusion of dnb and something some people would call " real music "
nice work, keep on doing good stuff :-)
