Please check out my new track 'End Of Days' and post your comments here!
littlle track i made in reason i cut the intro down so ya wouldnt all get bored cus it was a bit long its just an intro and a drop and is still a rough mix
i noticed that your drumrolls don't sound very "groovy"
sounds to simple IMO
try making them a bit more predictable/ less random, and add some better (higher quantized) drumrolls (ghosts, rimshots, hats, layers...)
the first chord progression in your first breakdown is to cheesy, find somthing more creative
the melodies are also a bit to flat/reptitive,
it all 'sounds' quite nice, but it's not musical. Their are almost no dynamics (loudness, frequencies,...)
some wickid breakdowns with totally different harmonics or even silence or reverbs could do this, and could eventually add a lot of dynamics. And,
try doing a bit more progression on your melodies (b-line inc.)
musically this isn't really appealing yet, and the final mix sounds good till it drops, the bass looses som power, cause it's overlapping with other stuff.
(or you haven't panned it properly, i'm listening only left, right one is in repair)
put EQ&dist on your bass, so it's better pronounced and easier to morph it later
and after you fixed the bass and the progressions, export every track and revise!
like adding some more synths :p
good luck!
grtz

I have recently started to create drum and bass tracks myself, though I have been making music for a few years, and listening to alternative electronic dance music for even longer. and I must say, your song just ROCKS! I love it. I dunno how you do it, but it sounds amazing, honestly. I like the voice samples, they really give a good ambience to the song, and the drum loop is really good. perhaps a slightly distorted synth would've ruined the whole thing, but I am curious still of what it could have done for the track. all-in-all it's a smash for late parts of a party, even close to a chillout mood, if not for the drum loop. great track, keep it up!
