Please check out my new track 'The Harrowing' and post your comments here!
This is my attempt at trying to make a Phace/Noisia style tune.
I got the B-Line from my micro Korg and the sound Fx's from various computer music sample CD's and my own collection. I used a ton of processing on all the Fx's.
The mixdown needs to be worked I think but for the most part I think came out pretty good.

pretty sick.
listening on some gaming headphones so cant comment on mix in depth but it sounds ok.
found the tune a bit boring at first but it progresses brilliantly.
nice minimal sounds and nicely created bass and FX.
maybe missing one element... cant put my finger on it. probably a pad or synth in the first half.
but meh, i'm just being picky.
good tune man.

drums are ace mate but the snare needs to loose some top end i think the bass is good dark and dirty man which i like some nice little delayed touches too. when it drop the bass seems to hide away a bit just me maybe the second bass that comes in changes the whole feel of the track definately and the third bass is very nice some nice touches to add interest like the filter opening up on the bass but 1 think i dont think goes well at the mo is that pad that comes in around the 245 ish mark
its way too loud imo thats about it th9ough mate very kool track some lovely growly bline action going on man

Noisia's jobs are safe, but this is still a really good effort. The bass in the intro sounds very good, almost like a monster trying to talk. The beats are solid throughout too. They're probably the highlight of the tune for me.
Where I feel this tune could be improved is in the structure. For me, it seems to jump between different vibes too often. Sometimes it's difficult to know what you're trying to achieve, vibe-wise. Personally, I'd prefer to hear this tune stick to one vibe throughout, even at the risk of being repetitive.
Overall tho, a decent tune. I enjoyed it.
