Please check out my new track 'Binary Havoc - By Chance (acoustiks Remix)' and post your comments here!
I loved the orig, but just didn't like the drums and song structure. I figured it could really be brought to life.
I hope you'll like it Binary Havoc.

Hey man what up?
The intro is a bit empty for my linkin and I wouldn’t start off with those drums (don’t like the kick btw). They are well eq-ed but didn’t really sound powerful, grooving or promising. The other elements fading in during the drop sound good and quite pro.
See if you can have that high string notes layered with something else, because imo it lacks a bit of depth and it also sounded quite synthesized as well.
Not sure about the single fingered piano, sounds always a bit simple to me. Make chords out of them if possible or play some notes quicker with velocity edits just to make it appear more real and more advanced.
Yeah, I was definitely expecting a huge warm sub bass. Nice one, but it is a bit overbearing and could have more variation; You may play some shorter notes or drop a few times to a deeper octave…because every time the bass kicks in back you are instantly reminded how warm and pleasant it sounds. Know what I mean?
That synth bass coming in on top of your sub later doesn’t work for me…
overall tune is very relaxed, I was expecting a bit more though. I like it tho!
Cheers!

Sounding a little thin to me, especially the drums. Also the bass sounds a bit too loud with my crappy headphones. A little bit (or a large bit) of work more and it could be an okay tune.

really nice atempt , the sub is overpowering the vocal and track thou , drums need a bit of power too , that kik sounds a bit wierd too on the build up bits as well , they sound out of place , u need to put a harder layer on them , but love it , sounds nice , i think the synth near the end could do with a nice swooshy sound , and maybe bring it up a bit , cool thou

Vocal should be a bit more stereo and could be a tad warmer.
Kick has no oomph (low-end), this is especially clear in drum build-ups with a lot of repeating kicks.
Nice track though!

Break sounding too weak. Sub is too loud IMO. Strings sounding very good. Kick sound is very weird (like if u play on a plastic bin with a spoon) if u know what i mean. Nice chilled out track, a bit empty though.

Big up to acoustiks on the remix duties
Very happy with most of this man, drums r fine to my ears and I like the break you've used. That kick rise does definately need switchin though bud
Totally different and much more minimal groove than my original
Respect

I don't know the original but this sounds sweet.
The strings over the vocal sound a little thin.
The roll before the drop sounds weird. The drop sounds awesome!
Overall a relaxing track, as you said it could use some Mixing/EQ'ing.
Sincerely, DRW

Really like the vibe of this track. I haven't heard the original version yet so can't really make a comparison with that but as a track in its own right its definitely top quality. Really like the drums, the break fits the track nicely although i do agree the kick could do with a bit more low end. The intro is sweet, piano and strings sit very nicely together, i dont think the intro needs any more adding to it, maybe just thicken up the strings a little. Bass is smooth and warm, goes with the chilled out feel of the whole track. Vocal reminds me a bit of some high contrast track from back in the day. Not sure about the background synth towards the end but other than that its sounding real smooth. I listen to/mix a lot of DnB but im new to producing so cant really offer any technical advice that would be worth listening to!

Drumz are crisp, like the piano and strings; the intro is very good. Nice build, it can come up a touch. The vocals sound great with all the pads. Sub is deep, sounds good. Good work on this tune fellas. Cheers.

Yeah, sounds bloody sweet to me mate. Nice one. I do love this style of dnb. I seem to like it more and more as I go on.
No complaints about this. The whole thing sounds great.
