Please check out my new track 'The Dancer' and post your comments here!
I have been working on this track since this morning 7:30 with my headphones so my ears are all busted. This is my fourth D&B track I made, I don't know what substyle this is and i don't care
.
One thing i have to mention is that after the icey break down there is actually a sample of Bjork - Cvalda, but due to copyright n sh!t i had to remove it so it could sound a bit empty!

Really nice stuff mate, especially for your fourth ever dnb tune. The beats sit a little too far in the background tho, I'd turn them up a little. Melodies are really sweet the whole way through. The square-wave lead is especially good. I can hear a decent sub in there too, something which beginners don't normally do so well.
Nice work mate. You've obviously got potential - so just keep doing what you're doing!

Found it funny that you said the beat is a bit to far in the background
, as i said i was hammering this tune since 7:30 this morning till 13:00 (got to do something on your day off
), on my headphones, so my ears were all ringing and I gradually put the volume down to comfort my ears, i hear clearly now so i've adjusted the beats, should fit better now.
About that bassline, I've been working with sylenth 1 synth for about 6 months now, you can make practically any sound you want with that powerful machine, friggin hell!
Also a tip for other people that need a nice sub, get sylenth 1 synth. It's so friggin simple to make a decent sub with that synth.
All the sounds in my track except the drums come from the Sylenth 1.
Thx for the review mate!

Man I know the busted ears feelin too well
The drums are good, some of the edits could be a bit more substantial and polished and parts of the break sound too quiet but they roll all nice so well done on that. Maybe add a few more subtle effects in there to keep the ears from shutting down, it gets fairly repetative but other than that, nice work and keep it up mate!

Don't play with panning like you do on the vocal (drives me nuts).
Don't like the lead instrument and the melody. Track could do with more variation.
Needs mastering.

like that atari style sample over the bass but the standard sub switch's dont really do anything for me like the make up of the track otherwise, vocal is quite trippy
