Work on the site has been ongoing. I have done a lot of small changes on my development machine over the past weeks, I have now started to put these changes online. Most changes have not much impact in the daily use of the site, but are improvements 'under the hood' 
There has also been a lot of work done on the new player as well, it is almost finished, there is just a last problem that needs to be fixed.
core code and layout:
- fixed a bug that prevented some errors and warnings from being logged
- moved all error reporting, session handling and debugging to the core code, since this was being handled inconsistently across various pages
- removed obsolete header and footer files

Samples page
- uses latest page rendering code now
- navigation bar was not showing up, fixed
Core code and layout
- changed message in log in box when user is not logged in.
- use self made rendering engine to render the log in box, this will make sure the 'user name' and 'password' are not rendered in bold text
- fixed bug that caused some reviews to show up empty in the 'latest reviews' box

Some small changes
- "Please vote for these tracks" box does not show ancient tracks anymore, only tracks from the past month
- Have corrected some outdated information in the FAQ
- The page to reset your password was hidden somewhere out of reach. I've added links to the login boxes so it is easy to find
- Redone the login box error checking. If you enter a wrong username / password combo you are rewarded with a frighteningly colored error message

The forum login is still the same, it's the one in the other parts of the site (music page etc) that has changed. Don't expect too much

The music in the player now loops again, as it used to in the old player. Was requested by several people. It makes reviewing and rating much nicer, as you can easily listen to the song a couple of times now.
