hmm i've not heard it yet, i'm a little sceptical though, as I wasnt a massive fan of 'always outnumbered..' although there were some good tracks. I'll give it a listen sometime soon!

Yeah, me too.
Except for Spitfire, the album was quite bad (by my opinion).

what gear did he use for this one? I hope it's some vintage stuff.
When the last album came out it was almost like some marketing promo for propellerheads and korg......

not this time mate, just the few seconds when the beats and bass drop on the opening track "invaders must die" show whats it about - sheer power
not their classicals stuff though, most of it is sub 140 bpm, breakbeats with I think one fast number
I for one like it, the tracks may sound cheesy but its that exact cheese Liam himself invented, and for that you must give credit. pendulum copied it and now it gets pissed on with this new shit, its more power vs less cheese when you compare the two bands
yeh there are a few things sounding interesting and fresh but its mostly commercialized sound and that will put people off for sure

sure man. its gonna be a busy week but Im sure Ill get on aim soon
back on topic - IMO prodigy is by far the better band IF you could compare them which I think is not really possible, as prodigy were always much more oriented towards experimentation whilst the other band invented a formula and started copy paste selling it

I used to be a massive prodigy fan when I was younger and I mean massive.... but now I find it hard to listen to most of the stuff on Experience, Jilted and Fat of the Land. I don't know if it's just that i've listened to it all too much but im just not that crazy about it anymore.
I'm sure at a club on a big system it would tickle me but at home....no

I saw The Prodigy in Manchester a few years ago with the Foo Fighters. It was a really great gig. Not the best I've ever been to but still really good.

I saw them at Reading festival 2002 and yeah it was massive and I felt like I was being crushed by by the amount of people cramming to get as close as possible but I felt the performance was just somewhat lacklustre. It was during the 'baby's got a temper' period (liams self confessed worse single) and the set consisted of all fat of the land songs, poison, the new single, and a madness cover if i remember right. I recall being disappointed there weren't more jilted tracks or anything from experience.

Don't take me wrong... i was breed on Prodigy stuff. And yes - I was excited when i heard about new album coming.AND yes... i heard "Warriors dance" before they release the album and I was mooore excited that they coming back to their oldskool style, jungle breaks & basses and some fucked up synths allover...God is my witness how wrong I was.... I like maybe 2-3 tunes from this album ,rest is crap in my opinion.Very disapointed
