LOL@ snap tune, do you know they still hold gigs? theyre coming over here this month. they must be old, like 50 or something
anyways love the tune, too bad myspace tottally eats up high end so it cant really be enjoyed. love the little vocal snips and how the edits are straying over the edge of being overdone but dont fall over. did you play this live? response must have been huge. towards the end I was hoping for more "I got the power" being used. but maybe it would stray it too much to mainstream.
second tune in the player reminds me of tobin but in a influence kind of way because technically its different, vibe is there, may be due to the organic nature of the strings. awesome tune
third tune feels most complete. feels like drops of rain sliding over cold metal in slow motion. love this one, the best of the three IMO. the vibe is cinematic all over, strong emotions flow. at around the end feels like a new tune being mixed in but barely, doesnt throw off the vibe. did you record any mixes? would like to hear em if you did

Here last year has been a fkn busy one, ups n downs all over the place. Hopefully gonna have a slightly easier, more productive one for 2009.
With the snap snap tune, I used the intro for a couple different reasons. First up, cause I hear the drum oop from the intro used in a lot of jungle and DnB tunes. Was kinda referencing that I guess, second up just for shits n giggles. That tunes sums up pure cheesey music in my opinion. Naff synth line and aweful rapping. Its cool to play live cause people notice the intro n think they know whats coming.... Never thought of putting more of the tune in there, could be fun tho, might see if i can find the accapella.
Second tune is a remake of a track I posted up here w hile back I always liked the tune, but the mix itself was fkn aweul. So I made a remake pretty much fom scratch. Still a few things to sort out with it. Its proving pretty hard to make a tune sound both open and airy, and full and intense..
3rd tune is def an inportant one to me. Started writting it in a corner of Moscow airport. When I was travelling a year ago, My Girlfriend and I had our passports stolen on the Moscow metro, and we ended up stranded ithere for about a month before we could finally get new passports and visas etc etc. At one point we lived in the airport terminal for a few days. We'd found a quiet part of the airport to sleep in. My girlfreidn fell asleep and I fired up FL and started making this track. Its evolved a whole lot since then, but the melodies all came from then.
Really glad you enjoyed the tracks man, thanks for the helpful feedback. As for live mixes, Got a couple Im gonna upload, prob is that they've been recorded through a shitty mixer so Im gonna try and sort them out a bit first. Will put em on my myspace when I have done.
