Phuture-T - jungletrain.net promomix february 2009
Phuture-T began DJing about 8 years ago. He started off mixing gabber music, techno & UK hardhouse. Since 2003 he joined the Reactor Studios Amsterdam kru and has been playing drum & bass ever since. Phuture-T is known for his fast and energetic mixing, always aiming for long mixes with multiple decks to create something new out of existing music - see it as one big remix all along. Although this jungletrain.net promomix is more drumfunk-orientated, Phuture-T likes to blend all sorts of drum & bass styles, new and old, ranging from jungle to techstep to rollers to drumfunk. This mix is a selection of combos he did either spinning live or on the radio during the Reactor Studios Radioshow on jungletrain.net. Next to DJing, Phuture-T is also a producer. Influenced by jazz, funk, and reggae, creating the darker sounds of drum & bass, focused mainly on chopped-up breaks. With forthcoming releases on Uncertified Music, Break-Fast Audio & Catalyst Music this man is one to watch!
