Didn't turn out how I wanted really. Samples from Nick and Erina Z Justice or Lies pack. Really wanted some female vocal over it or somethin....little like "Say Your Words" by Concord Dawn or somethin like that.
Didn't have the project file which Nick and Erina Z used but just made from scratch and incorporated own ideas.
it takes a while to get goin but it sounds good when it drops probably takes too long to get started needs a better flow and ya got a good tune. good choice of sounds but for me the grumbly reese gets a little bit borin and makes a lot of the tunes that use it sound a bit too similar but it goes nice with the track and a pretty good production
them strings a sample? if they are send em me by email they are rude keep it up man
Cheers man. Yea totally lost with what to do. Just gonna concentrate on beats for the next wee while. nah those strings are from a pack i bought called Varazdin orchestral but layered them with a few other pads and ran them through filters and FX
hi , nice track but needs loads of work , kik is far to thin and doesent have much presance , it needs some low end frequencey on it or another kik underneath 4 a boost , track could benifit from some fx , i think the track starts to get a bit boring in the middle , the bass needs some sub underneath it too !!!!!!!!!

Love concord dawn myself, maybe your track benifits from some, dreamy ping ping samples, like the one in morning light, I need to have sex with that track haha
That tearing bass is fucking sick, intro is great. Maybe the violin stuff should fade out a bit.
This is the mega anthem style that reminds me of those sick tracks from 1996-2002 at times. Love it.
The switch at 1:41 is to sudden and too extreme. Actually you pretty much ruin the atmosphere and the built up tension by doing that. Breakdown is great with a lot of FX going on. Second drop is good again and again you ruin it by switching to a different style. Too bad, this could have been a mega whammer.

really like the metallic drum sound too. even tho the chance in mood around 1.45 caught me by surprise it works
lovin the overall textures, but personally would have explored the darker sections a bit more
Thanks. yea i don't like the other part to the track at the breakdowns i just didn't have any ideas it was hard........i spent hours thinkin and just settled for what i had. I personally think it differs too much from the whole feelin of the song but I just really hoped i got the drums soundin right? they sound pretty dam punchy to me on my Mackie HR824s? ....Anyhow....i continue to make some beats and breaks for now....songs will come later. Cheers I really appreciate the feedback a lot. Whether its negative or positive I learn a lot . There is certainly a diverse amount of feedback which is good and at times there always will be. N-Vee aint the right name for me.......infact i aint got no name till i bring out somethin special. I don't envy nothin except i appreciate everythin I listen to. Drum n Bass . be is a good community and always will be. Respect and best of luck to successful Producers and DJs alike.
good ideaas except that the structure is a little off mate. you should of used the drum pattern from 1.42 at the beginnig over the pads and then dropped the mash up beat cus you dont go back into it at all for a long time and this is wrong as the energy from the track is gone. you need to compress your drums and run them at the right levels as they are clashing and dont sit right in the mix but that is nothing you cant go and do. the mix feel to narrow and open and set. butr is this full mixed down or not?
id like to get a hold of the sample pack and run a mix of this down so gonna go and look for it now but good effort none the less mate
