the elements in the intro could need a bit of reverb and delay, track sounds a bit empty at some points, maybe add a fat sub, sax or some vocals?
but yeah, this track has a funky vibe, likin the bass starting at 0:44, 1:50 drop sounds good with the new bass.
keep working on it!

This definitely sounds like a live band playing in a small room, particularly with that bassline. Almost sounds like Rage Against the Machine in a way. Was that your intention? If it was, it's a good idea. Although I would say the whole thing needs a little reverb cos it's too dry. I definitely think it needs some chunky guitars. I'm a rock fan, so I'm probably biased but I think they'd fit nicely into a tune like this. Btw, your kick is sounding too thin. It needs to have more boom, more impact. Snare is good tho. Good start.

wow that kick in the intro is super snappy! maybe a bit too much? sounds like a pop seems a bit high in the mix as well

funky bass guitar when it comes in Big Grin needs more filling up get some pads and fx, sounds too empty at points eg 1:40

overall drums could do with more movement and interest

good start, sort that kick out and fill it up and ur sorted Wink
