Please check out my new track 'Quantum³ - Paroxysm' and post your comments here!
Getting better at processing basses, this track should have more punch than the last few ive been making.
Cheers for any reviews

liking those reverb kicks, good dramatic beginning... track has a nice vibe, id prefer more energy & movement in there, just my taste.
but yeah nice bass and synths, cool track man (minimalistic? i like it
). well mastered, everything fits nicely. nice work!

drums need a lot of work. can hardly even hear the kick, gets really lost in the mix. snare needs heaps more punch n snap. maybe layer it with a punchier snare and compress them. hats are very simple, again layer them with other hats, loops.
not much bass in the tune. needs a sub bass line. probably a sine wave underneath the bass. n hi shelf the bass line uv got.
Good synths. i like the synth lead line.
not a bad song, moves quite well. dont get bored of it, just needs more work on the technical side of things.

cheers for the feed back
the kick comes in and out it sounded muddy so i put sime distortion and a hi pass filter on some to variayte the beats and add a more syncopated feel to the beats. You cant hear it cos its not there
I tried a sub bass line but the kick has so much low frequency and with sub it gets too complictated and lo-frq.biasesed which drowns the track. changing the kick takes the power away.
all the frequencys should be there...
cheers for your input though.
snare could be snappier i suppose....ill see what i can do.

nice track. the processed bass sounds good on this, id bring out the high end a bit more on the first section jst to make it sound a bit more crisp. Nice kick, think the snare needs beefing up 2 match tho. likin the sounds wen the bass changes at around 2:15, the mix of the track sounds better at that point. nice 1

Yeah, your bass is definitely improving mate. They are the highlight of this tune. It does sound very strange without having a proper kick tho. Makes it really difficult to groove to because that's where most of the groove comes from. The melodies are definitely on the techy and trancy side of things. I have no complaints with that, although I think they are lacking the 'X factor'. It needs more sweeping melodic changes I reckon. It needs something that makes you drop your jaws and go, "Woow!". Easier said than done of course but I know you're capable of that cos melodies are your strong point. I do like this tune tho mate. It's great to hear you continually progressing! Keep it up.

The bass is a lil to loud for my likin and the snare still needs some more. More crack snap! don't know where the kick is...you needa layer and chop and EQ right for both kick and snare. I'm guilty of it but most importantly get the beats right. The bass is just a bit heavy is all I really wanna say. Everythin else is all sweet nice tune
