Please check out my new track 'Born Old Skool New Flava' and post your comments here!
I really really really worked hard on this one for pretty much 3 days straight. Just usin samples with what I got. I just wanted to smash it and pull every cool sound that I liked out of the air and bring in some Old Skool new skool flava. Inspired by Jungle pioneers. Most notably the apache break
Thanks FLstudio

Drums are great, good sound, good variation.
Good stereo.
Melodies need improvement there's no groove in them and there's hardly any real bass going on, it's all mids.
Just listen to a lot of jungle and check what they do with the bass to get a catchy funky tension into their tunes.

good intro great build up pro sounding drums with an original bassline love the sound selection and everything flows nicely together and feels solid very well produced. the main hits have punch and crunch. pssibly a bit short but that aint a bad thing caus it flows through nicely with a bit more work this could be a really good track keep it up big tunage

A loud mix from FL. What compression are you using? It's a good tune mate, tonnes of interesting things going on. Probably a bit too much but it never bores. You can definitely tell that you tried to 'pull every cool sound that I liked out of the air' because it sounds more like a collection of cool ideas rather than a coherent tune with a single theme. But I'm not complaining.
I do think you've used a little too much stereo panning tho. It makes the whole thing sound a little messy. The beats sound a bit too loud to me as well, with too many mids. I'd tone down the mids and drop the volume of your snare a bit.
Like I said, tonnes of good stuff here. Melodies are super. Good stuff N-Vee! Three days well spent.
