no intro, just slams in
beats need to undergo serious overhaul. kick is too deep and the snare too short, need more layers on top. as it is sounds like a fruity loops preset
bass is too boomy, the kick is taking over its frequencies too. once the second bass enters you can hear theres not enough room for it, suggest clearing up space for the second bass and kick by using notching eq(s).
needs more fx but concentrate on the beats and bass first
work it

Yea you're right about the EQing. Sounds very muddy. Kick reallllly fighting with bass....Then when you add in the synth bass it sounds ....sorry bro but bloody terrible. Good ideas but it sounds shockin. Get a taste of what sounds good to your ears first before you post anythin up. If it sounds terrible work on it .....and if it still aint workin and you've done so much editing you might as well start another project then do so.

kickdrum has way too much bass on it. Turn that bass down quite a lot, it's ruining everything.

i can see where this is going and you should work on it more. though that pad isnt doing it any favours the bass probably needs tonig down a bit overpowering everything far too much and if you tone that down you may be able to add a few more things in the way of fx or vocal chops keep on it and you could have a quality track, maybe a few varioations on the bass line to add a bit more interest and keep things rolling along more

If the EQing wasn't as bad, you'd have a pretty decent start here mate. You say you're using an old pair of headphones which could be impacting the EQing problems? It still soundn't sound this bad mate. Listen to how pro tunes sound through your headphones and try to emulate them. You'll probably notice that pro tunes seem to sound great whatever they are played through. Similarly, a badly EQed tune will never sound good through anything. Like I said tho, this ain't a bad tune, it's just the EQing that ruins it. Concentrate on that and you could have potential.
