I made this using fruity loops, its about 60% done. I want to add some voice samples and other sounds in the background to make it more interesting. Also theres some tidying up to do with the filters. Can anyone recommend good sample packs for breaks and just random sounds? I dont mind paying either i have a serious lack of samples. Cheerz
got potential but its not quite done yet. Enjoying the mellow melodic harmonious vibe. Get some reverb or really dense echo on the intro noise and play around with the sample itself to get it sound more congruent and settled in the mix. Can see you put some time in that bass programming (nice LFO's) next step is to EQ the current "bass" sounds you have in the mid range. Then add another BASS that is more felt than heard really underneath that mostly follows the beat of the kick drum. That will really fill the track out and bring it to the next level. Work on your sound design and how to really manipulate the sounds how you want and your on your way to some craft production. Drum n Bass takes a lot of time and dedication can see your on your way.
think the piano in the into sounds a bit too dry, could do with some reverb and delay to get it to float around nicely imo
breaks sample packs - loads available online, ez rollers dnb pack is one option, theres also some breaks on the psitech page a dude from doa (filefront)
the wobble bass could have a bit more low in it, the beat does definately need some layering up, sounds a bit thin
Your sound is all bass and little hi end.

Good buildup, good bassline, drums are ok. Feeling good about this first tune I hear from you, there's room for improvement, but if you stick to it you can be really good.

Nice upbeat jazzy vibe. It has an old skool-ish vibe which I like. One of the wobbly basses is panned too wide tho and is a bit dirty. Like Dethworm said, you also need to add a deep sub into this. Beats are solid throughout but a tad muffled. The highs need more clarity and prominence. In fact, the whole mix is a bit muffled. I would suggest increasing the mids and highs on the master channel. It's still a good tune tho. Lots of promise here. Keep up the good work comrade.

Diggin the melody and the liquid vibes in the intro
Kick sounds a little flappy, might wanna tighten it up a little??
Stylistically, Im not sure the wobble fits with the vibe of the tune?? It could certainly sit better in the mix when its playing with the strings at least
love the intro man, betas are ok at the drop but but i think could be more smacky as all the high mids seem to be cut out from them, mix seems abit messy as them basses are way to loud compare to the other tune, defo alot of pottential here, nice groove, nice idea man, i like this style, very groovy, keep on it man, start comparing your tunes with other dnb tunes as a refrence to your mix.
good effort for sure, i really like it but i now i could like it more if you improve on it.

Search around brother. Go to loopmasters.com they always got good packs of interestin stuff. cool little tune you got goin on. I was just in the middle of doin somethin else and this song was still playin. I think this tune is pretty phat. Ya just needa change it up a bit more to make it interestin. But sounds pretty cool mate Nice and different nice job bro i'm feelin it.
