Hey Saikonutta!

To be honest with you, I don’t fancy the whole tune too much. There are good elements in here, no question, but the acid bassline versus the more or less random (melody wise) sounding pad/string synth didn’t really work for me (the bassline edits are quite dope tho).
Drums sound good and clear, kick could stand out a tad more. The programming is all right but they didn’t really start rolling. Layering some closed hats or something underneath your break might help.
Couldn’t really follow the structure, I guess this is due to the lack of some extra elements in here. I would ditch the pad/string you’ve got and add a less minimal sound.
Overall a very clean production, eq is well done imo, mixdown could be slightly louder.

Keep it up!

This one isn't hitting the spot for me mate I'm afraid. The structure is too random and I really don't like the gated bassline. It sounds too much like a trance tune to me. I do prefer the strings tho. If you made those the focus of the tune and changed the bassline, it'd be much better I reckon. The rides are very good. They add a nice groove and are pitched just right. The kick and snare, however, sound very small. I guess you're using compression on them? It sounds to me as if there is too much attack on the snare.

Freestyle has been permanently banned from this site for the following reasons:
- he tricked people into sending him high quality versions of their tracks, under the false pretense of releasing a drumnbass.be-endorsed compilation album
- he makes threats and insults to members and moderators in personal messages and forum posts
- he uploaded a track to this site which violated the copyright of DJ Zinc
- he created multiple identities on this site with which he used to manipulate his ratings by voting on his own tracks, back up his own posts, and insult members and moderators
- despite being warned about his behaviour and ultimately being banned from this site he continues to create new aliases to threat and insult our members and moderators

I advise anyone to avoid doing any business with this individual, or his "labels" mp3styleproductions.info, drumandbase.info, reverbnation.com/freestylednb, musicv2.com/artist/nebula, soundcloud.com/freestylednb as he is not to be trusted and will probably try to steal your work.

His aliases horrorscope, nu-balance, earthquake, free_style and freestyleDNB have also been banned from this site.

Interestin ideas mate! but I'm not so much enjoyin that string on the 4 beat of the 4th bar its off key and not nice..........but the ideas that flow after that are all good. The bass is very thin and a bit borin and the drums definitly need to be filled out to make it sound fuller.

THx! Big Grin

Sorry for not commenting your tunes, but I don't want to reinstall flash player 9 on my ubuntu machine;

To much hassle and shizzle for my other working applications...

yea, it's minimalistic and "compact compressed", i got this idea from one of "Spore"'s tunes (that 8bit-atari adlib tune or whatsoever on his myspace)

and yeah, the intro pad melody is too much cheese, i admit Big Grin ... I'll work it out

The intro structure is also a bit chaotic in the intro, idd

And you're saying a different bassline could maybe do it? I'll give it a go....

I don't give a fuck if it sounds trancy, jazzy, polka, or Helmut Lotti. I only care if it's enjoyable and nice (for embedded dnb junks Wink )...so for me this is not really a good argument, but thx anyway for the reply...

All right, thank you for your insight, I guess structure and pads are the keywords for me Happy

i'll review your tunes a.s.a our admin has fixed the player Smile

cheerz
