Yeah, I agree the snare is quite thin, would need layering (more low mids also). I personally don’t fancy its sound too much.
The ideas is here are good. The sub is huge, the kick in comparison is sounding a bit hi passed tho, especially when played without the sub underneath it. Maybe side chaining except of cutting the kick’s low end?
The hats coming in could use more definition in hi end, better eq.
The sound you’ve created is nice and innovative but the tune isn’t really starting to roll for me, there is missing a little. Mostly tension and depth I think, needs more power and drive.
Nice track! I really think the buildup @ :30-:45 is very clean sounding. The low bass is nice and smooth. (Plus, what is that? water like sounds panned left at the buildups? that is pretty cool and original) You leave a lot of room in the higher bass freqs of the mix if you want to mess around with another bass track on there it would fit with ease. Overall a solid start and it could be a banger. Maybe throw in some change ups and build ups is all I can suggest. Nice sounds!
Yea your dam rite....i'm way off after listenin to it this mornin. But it sounded alright last night. must be the smoke filled room which gave the music more life
Will work on it though to make it sound extra PHAT.
loving the rhythm feel and glitchy bit. The drums need a bit more body (more midrange). I would just get another sample and arrange it accordingly and set it right over top. The subbass could also use a bit more definition, cant put my finger on it tho, sounds too wide or diffuse. Love the grain table bit right before the drop. Overall got some good conceptual ideas and vibe. Could use a bit more drum work and nuance also stick one more FX in the intro for depth. Sick Trak. Keep it coming.
Weird instrument choice.
The kick and snare are very "regular" sounding, they don't fit the rest of the tune very well.
The kick lacks oomph.
Good buildup. Some of the soundFX going on should be done different.

lol @ the title
(as long as ur not whackion anyones balls its all good haha)
cool vocal (although "bass" vox are used everywhere). will boringly agree, snare needs more, i'm not sure about the sample itself
it does work to an extent but some of the elements don't quite gel for me, hard to explain why
still always good to have an experiment and capture vibes u may not normally, i do have to say i like the synth, if u developed that more (that weeaa synth) i think u could have a good tune on ur hands
Totally agree with Gregg and the others about the thin sounding kick and flat snare. The snare definately sounds like it came straight out of a sample pack with very little EQing. The vocal sample is pretty good. It seems to fit the vibe and is EQed nicely. The whole tune is lacking something tho. It doesn't grab my attention or excite me. I reckon you need to work on the bassline a bit more because it's too repetitive. Tbh, I can't actually hear a melody in this, it sounds more like a build-up rather than a proper tune. As a build-up it works well, but as a tune there isn't enough excitement. Not a bad start tho, keep at it.

hello, drums sound strange to me, no beef to them, but may sound goos when the bass drops???.....
